Originally created in 1896, the Rebecca fountain stands at the intersection of 4 Old Harbor Roads. However, the fountain required restoration and in 2001, the statue was removed and recast in a modern, durable material and was remountained. On June 7, 2002, a ceremony was held for the completion of the “Rebecca restoration.”

Cranston, RI:

Located at the Auburn Branch Library of Cranston, this modern drinking fountain was donated by Woman’s Christian Temperance Union. Its inscription reads:

This fountain is presented to the city of Cranston in appreciation of the work of the Woman’s Christian Temperance Union. In honor of Edna Maine Spooer and others who have worked for the principles of the Woman’s Christian Temperance Union. An additional bubbler is also located at the Cranston Public Library.

Kingston, RI:

At the Kingston Congregational Church, a water bubbler is located, which was requested by the church. It was dedicated in memory of Edna Maine Spooner who was president and LTL Director of the Roberts Union.
