La Grande, OR:
On September 7, 1904, this fountain was installed by the WCTU. However, the fountain, nicknamed “Cast Iron Mary”, was demolished in 1924 after being hit by a drunk driver.
Roseburg, OR:
Originally erected on September 30, 1908, this fountain is of the goddess, Hebe. However, on April 4, 1912, a runaway team of horses hit the fountain, causing Hebe to be knocked off the base. Efforts to restore the fountain began in 2002, and she has since been successfully restored.
