Erected in 1904 on the Amherst Common, this fountain includes an inscription for the WCTU and the Young Woman’s Christian Temperance Union (YWCTU) and also reads:

Blessed are the merciful.

Ayer, MA:

Created at the turn of the century, this fountain was erected on June 17, 1899.

Brockton, MA:

Located in Perkins Park, this fountain was donated by the WCTU to Brockton in 1894. The inscription on the front of the fountain reads:

Woman’s Christian Temperance Union / To the city of Brockton / 1894

Conway, MA:

This granite fountain was erected in 1905 in Masonic Square.

In Municipal Park on the corner of Bank and South Washington Street, this fountain was erected in 1911 dedicated to the WCTU, YWCTU, and Loyal Temperance Legion (LTL).

Hadley, MA:

Located on the West Street Commons of Hadley, this temperance fountain had been vandalized in recent years, but efforts to restore it are underway. Its inscription on the front of the structure was commonly used among temperance fountains and reads:

Lee, MA

This marble fountain was erected in 1899 in Town Park Village Green due to the trailblazing efforts of Amelia Jeanette Jilbon of the Loyal Temperance Legion. It has two images that evoke flowing water: a fish and an image of Chief Konkapot of the Stockbridge Mohegan tribe who originally controlled the territory of Lee. Its inscription reads: 

This fountain was begun by the Loyal Temperance Legion under the leadership of Amelia Jeannette Kilbon and was completed by her friends as a tribute to her memory. 1870-1897.

Leominster, MA:

Located in Carter Park at the corner of Main Street and Summer Street, this granite and marble fountain was erected in 1903. The fountain was designed and made by John Yule and features two inscriptions.

The inscription on the top of the fountain reads: 

Women’s Christian Temperance Union

The second inscription on the plaque reads: 

Willard Memorial presented to the town of Leominster by Women’s Christian Temperance Union, 1903.

Erected in 1904, this fountain was placed at the Main Street Intersection of North and West Street.

Uxbridge, MA:

This fountain was erected in 1923 in the Town Common of Uxbridge. Its inscription reads:

Erected by / the Woman's Christian / Temperance Union / 1928
